THE DISCIPLED CREED
THIS IS WHO I AM.
A declaration of faith, commitment, and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
The Discipled Creed is not a wish list. It is not a set of goals. It is a declaration — a statement of identity rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ and the daily choice to walk in obedience to His Word.
I BOW TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST.
He is not a part of my life — He is the center of it. I surrender my will, my plans, my ambitions, and my identity to the King of Kings. I do not follow Him when it is convenient. I follow Him because He is Lord.
I BURN THE SHIPS BEHIND ME.
Every old pattern. Every escape route. Every excuse. I do not go back to who I was. I have been made new in Christ, and I walk forward — even when it costs me everything.
I BELONG TO THE KING. I AM A NEW CREATION.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. I am not defined by my past, my failures, or the opinions of men. I am defined by the blood of Jesus Christ.
I STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH.
I do not waver when the storm comes. I do not compromise when the culture demands it. I plant my feet on the Word of God and I hold the line — for my family, my brothers, and the Kingdom.
I ACT LIKE A MAN.
I take responsibility. I lead with courage. I protect what God has entrusted to me. I do not shrink back, make excuses, or wait for someone else to step up. I am the man God called me to be.
I PURSUE HOLINESS — NOT PERFECTION.
I will fall. I will fail. But I will get back up, confess, repent, and press forward. I am not chasing a performance — I am chasing the heart of God. His grace is sufficient. His mercies are new every morning.
I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER.
I do not do this alone. I sharpen and am sharpened. I speak truth in love. I show up when it is hard. I carry the weight of my brothers and allow them to carry mine. Iron sharpens iron.
I GUARD MY MIND AND MY MOUTH.
I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I do not speak death over myself or others. My words carry weight — I use them to build, to encourage, and to declare the truth of God.
I TRAIN MY BODY AS AN ACT OF WORSHIP.
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. I steward it with discipline and intentionality — not for vanity, but for the glory of God and the mission He has placed before me.
I LEAD MY FAMILY WITH LOVE AND STRENGTH.
I am present. I am engaged. I am the spiritual covering of my home. I lead not by dominance but by sacrifice — as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her.
I LIVE FOR AN AUDIENCE OF ONE.
I do not seek the approval of men. I do not perform for applause. I live to hear the words: 'Well done, good and faithful servant.' Everything I do, I do for the glory of God alone.
THIS IS MY CREED. THIS IS MY COMMITMENT. THIS IS WHO I AM IN CHRIST.
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."
